As of September 1, 2025, the Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) portal is live, allowing BECE candidates to verify their personal details, school selections, and programme choices. Placement Results Coming September 17

The official placement results will be released on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. On that date, successful candidates will learn which SHS they’ve been assigned.

Following placement, students are expected to report to their respective schools between October 18 and October 20 to commence the new academic year.

No Fixed Cut-Off Points

The Ghana Education Service has firmly dismissed circulating rumors about fixed cut-off points determining placement. Instead, placement decisions are based on raw BECE scores, demand for certain schools or programmes, overall candidate aggregates, and geographic catchment considerations. Reports claiming predetermined cut-offs have been labeled misleading.
